Preface: The repair and daily maintenance of magnetic separators are essential to ensure their efficient and stable operation. The following introduces the repair and daily maintenance of magnetic separators:

A. Repair of magnetic separators

a. Daily inspection and maintenance:

1. Regularly check the bolt fasteners of the magnetic separator to ensure that there is no looseness or rust.

2. Check the temperature of bearings, reducers, motors and other components to ensure that they are within the normal range (such as bearing temperature not higher than 40°C, motor and reducer temperature not higher than 85°C).

3. Monitor the sound of the magnetic separator during operation. If there is an abnormal sound, stop the machine immediately for inspection and troubleshooting.

4. Check the wear of the stainless steel barrel. If it is serious, stop the machine for replacement.

5. Check the lubrication and tightness of the magnetic separator chain to ensure that there is no drop, no tooth skipping, and the sprocket end faces are on the same plane.

b. Transmission system maintenance:

1. Regularly check the wear of the transmission gears. If there is an impact sound or severe wear, stop the machine for inspection and replacement.

2. Check the vibration and oil leakage of the reducer. If there is any abnormality, it needs to be handled in time.

c. Magnetic system maintenance:

1. Regularly check the position and angle of the magnetic poles, and adjust them in time when changes are found to ensure the recovery rate of magnetite.

2. Detect the magnetic field strength. If the magnetic field strength weakens, the magnetic field needs to be adjusted or the magnetic block needs to be replaced.

d. Lubrication system maintenance:

1. Regularly check the lubrication of the bearings, select clean lubricating oil, and refuel or replace it according to the prescribed cycle.

2. Regularly lubricate the transmission chain and sprocket to ensure good operating conditions.

e. Maintenance of other components:

1. Check the water pressure and impurities in the bottom flushing water pipe to ensure that the water pressure is not less than the specified value and there is no blockage in the pipe.

2. Regularly check the wear and impurities of the ore separation box, slurry distribution box and other components, and clean and replace them in time.

B. Daily maintenance of magnetic separator

a. Cleaning operation:

1. Regularly wipe the body of the magnetic separator, clean the residue and dust on the conveyor belt, and keep the equipment clean.

2. Clean the feed trough, concentrate discharge trough and tailings discharge trough every week to check for damage, deformation and other problems.

b. Lubrication and maintenance:

1. Regularly lubricate key parts such as bearings and transmission gears to ensure good lubrication.

2. Regularly replace lubricating oil and grease according to the requirements of the equipment manual.

c. Equipment inspection:

1. Check the position and angle of the magnetic pole every day to ensure the recovery rate of magnetite.

2. Regularly check whether the various components of the equipment are normal, and pay special attention to the operation of components such as rotating gears and reducers.

d. Feed management:

During work, pay attention to the use of the magnetic separator at any time. If you find that there are relatively hard things in the material slurry, you should take them out in time to avoid wearing out the barrel of the magnetic separator.

e. Safety protection:

1. When performing maintenance or maintenance, the power supply should be cut off and a warning sign should be hung to ensure safety.

2. Avoid using strong magnetic tools or magnetic conductive items close to the magnetic system of the magnetic separator to prevent damage to the magnetic system.

f. Records and feedback:

1. Establish equipment maintenance records to record each maintenance and repair.

2. If potential problems or hidden faults are found in the equipment, feedback should be promptly reported to the superior and arranged for processing.

PS: The maintenance and daily maintenance of the magnetic separator need to be carried out in accordance with the specifications to ensure its normal operation and extend its service life. During the maintenance process, corresponding maintenance measures should be taken for different types of faults; during daily maintenance, attention should be paid to cleaning operations, lubrication maintenance, equipment inspection, feed management, and safety protection.
