Raymond mill is a common grinding equipment, widely used in environmental protection, mining, chemical industry, building materials and other industries. Routine maintenance and troubleshooting are essential to ensure proper operation and extend the service life. The following are some routine maintenance points and common troubleshooting methods for the Ramon mill.


A. Routine Maintenance of Ramon Mill

a. Regular inspection: regularly check whether all parts of the machine are in good condition, especially the wearing parts such as wearing rings and rollers. Once any damage is found, it shall be replaced in time.

b. Lubrication maintenance: regularly add lubricating oil or grease to the bearing and other places to be lubricated according to the instructions, and keep good lubrication condition to reduce the wear between parts.

c. Cleaning: after each use, the equipment shall be thoroughly cleaned, especially the feeding inlet, discharging outlet and internal ash deposition parts, to prevent the material residue from affecting the next use effect.

d. FASTENING SCREWS: check and tighten all exposed screws and connections to ensure that no loosening occurs.

e. Electrical system inspection: regularly check the working condition of the electrical control system to ensure good line connection and avoid shutdown due to electrical failure.


B. Remedy of faults of Ramon mill

a. Decline in production

Check whether the humidity of raw materials is too high and adjust it properly.

Check whether the clearance between the grinding roller and grinding ring is proper, and adjust if necessary.

Clean the screen to ensure that the mesh is clear.

  

b. Unusual noise level

Check whether foreign matters enter the machine and cause collision sound.

Observe whether all moving parts operate normally, and immediately shut down for inspection in case of abnormality.

Confirm whether the lubrication is sufficient, and supplement in time in case of insufficiency.

c. Excessive vibration

Check whether the foundation bolts are firm and re-reinforce.

Adjust the coupling balance between the motor and the main machine.

Verify that the installation foundation is level and secure.

  

d. Overheat problem

1.Check whether the cooling system works normally, such as fan speed, etc.

2.Reduce continuous working time and increase intermission.

3.Pay attention to the ambient temperature, and try to avoid long-time operation in high temperature environment.

C. Precautions for Use of Ramon Mill

a. Necessary technical training must be carried out for operators before installation of Ramon mill to make them understand the principle and performance of Ramon mill and be familiar with the operating procedures of Ramon mill. During the use of the Ramon mill, fixed personnel shall be responsible for guarding, and the operator must have a certain technical level.

b. In order to ensure the normal operation of the Ramon mill, the "safe operation system for equipment maintenance" shall be formulated to ensure the long-term safe operation of the mill. Meanwhile, necessary maintenance tools, lubricating grease and corresponding accessories shall be provided.

c. Ramon grinding machine shall be overhauled after a period of use. Meanwhile, vulnerable parts such as grinding roller, grinding ring and scraper knife shall be overhauled and replaced. Before and after the grinding roller device is used, the connecting bolts and nuts shall be carefully checked for looseness and sufficient lubricating grease.

d. When the grinding roller device of Raymond mill has been used for more than 500 hours or so to replace the grinding roller, the rolling bearings in the roller sleeve must be cleaned, and the damaged parts shall be replaced in time. The refueling tools can be manual refueling pump and grease gun.

e. During shutdown, first stop feeding, the main machine continues to rotate, and the remaining materials continue to be ground. After about one minute, the main machine motor can be shut down to stop grinding, and then the fan motor and analyzer motor can be stopped.
